Auto 110 Prices - crazy or what?

I've been seeing a few Pentax 110 cameras for sale various places and the prices strike me as....well.....a bit high. I realize that the lenses can be adapted to the Q but are people really shooting 110 all that much to justify the overall price structure I am seeing these days for the camera?

I got mine with the 50mm and the 28mm lens for ~$30-$40 with shipping early this year... wasn't top condition, but I did not get it for collection purposes (I got it to ofer it to my daughter when she is old enough, as her first manual focus film camera).

What prices are you seen?

I got mine for a little less than that (probably the equivalent of US$60). I got the body (and case) with 70, 50 and 24mm lenses, plus Pentax UV filters and close-up filters (2 for the 24 and 2 for the 50). I will never use the body so, if anyone wants it ….

I've been using my 110 lenses on the Q7, they have been going up in price lately.

I got the 18, 24, 50 and 70 with a body and the auxiliary lenses for about $50, but that was a couple of years ago.
I've never used it to shoot film.

Mostly on the Q7. I really wanted the 50 and 70. A case of LBA. But they are pretty good. I cut washers to stop them down to about f4.

How are you mounting them to the Q? Is the 110 lens mount compatible?

pentax 110 to q adapter | eBay

The cheap ones work OK, the springs that tension the 110 lens mount are thin and if you remove the lens a lot they will need to be re-tensioned from time to time. I use the 50mm the most and the 18mm with the W21 close-up lens too. The 70mm is OK, but I prefer to use a C-mount lens (Cosmicar) for that use.
The 24mm is good but is very tiny, making it hard to use and hard to find a deep lens hood.

Thanks. I haven't played with lenses on the Q in several years but this offers some intriguing possibilities.

I thought the same thing when I was looking for 110 lenses four years ago. Since then I've noticed prices vary widely; they did then and they do now.
I've noticed the same with C-mount lenses as well. Obviously there is demand for both as adapted lenses on Q or m4/3, but there is also a large supply
still yet available. Be patient and reasonably price 110 lenses will surface.

I actually paid a mid to high price, ($110), in 2015 for a 110 kit with 18mm, 24mm & 50mm with aluminum presentation case. Price paid would have
been reasonable had the kit been complete but there were a few caps and accessory lenses missing. Since then I've seen similar kits priced for
anywhere between $40 and $200. I managed to followup with bargain purchases on the 70mm ($10) and 20-40mm ($25).

Thanks. It struck me as odd to watch the bidding on evilBay and thought it might be what folks here have suggested.

Here is a "complete" kit, bids starting under $100

It doesn't have the 70mm or the zoom (which were always sold separately) but does have all the close-up lenses and the filters and hoods and an extra 24mm.

The foam in the lid of the case is funky and will need to be replaced but it doesn't look like it affected the lenses.

I use the 18mm with the W21 close-up lens on my Q7, it is a super compact macro set-up capable of quality results.
The 50mm is also a good match for the Q—high resolution (with washer installed) edge to edge sharpness, zero distortion.
