Point and Shoot Competition #142 - transportation

This month's theme is Transportation. Transportation is all around us and should be a subject everyone has photographed. There are many interpretations from people and things being whisked about to actual form of travel. It's all fair game. Remember to have fun.

Rules:

1. Always have fun!

2. Cameras:

No cameras with sensors larger than 1"
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras (some exceptions below).
No (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted:
Mobile phones, tablets, small sensor toy cameras.
Pentax Q, Nikon 1, any 110 film.

ANY CAMERA BRAND ALLOWED.

3. Entries will close January 31st, 2020 midnight CST.

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the contest closing date/time.

Panasonic FX500, 15.2mm (90mm equivalent),1/200 at f/5.5, ISO100

Kayak
Panasonic FX500, 22mm (130mm equivalent),1/125 at f/5.9, ISO250

Here's my entries. Transporting tumbleweeds to the roadside so we can use the path. Pentax Q7 and Q 03 Fisheye, ISO800.

Thanks to the participants. The contest was difficult to judge. The images are very creative. After studying the entries I pick kwb as winner. Didn’t realize tumbleweeds were such a transportation problem that had to be removed.

Congratulations kwb. It's now time for you to set up contest #143. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Thank you very much barondla, for selecting my entries, and of course for an interesting theme!

Thanks Bart and Titia! Mature tumblewees are easily rooted up by winds out of sandy soil of the desert and roll to spread, but when wind blows hard they travel for a very long distance and pile up at man-made structures like this quickly, causing a real problem.

Anyway, I'll spend a day or so and will post the next theme. See you all in the next one!
