Point and Shoot Competition #144 -- Figurative Symmetry

I took the title from a thread I love at the Rangefinder Forum. I'll describe it in my own words though. The idea is that a sense of symmetry should be in the photograph. It could be fairly literal with an asymmetrical element, or more askew with symmetry felt in the composition. It is meant to be creative and free, fun definitely, and can be of anything.

Rules are similar to last month:

Contest Rules:

Always have fun!

Cameras:
ALL CAMERA BRANDS ARE ALLOWED.
Camera should be compact, and let's say fit in a pocket of some garment you own or have owned at some time, and some pockets are bigger than others! I'm not getting out a tape measure...
Digital cameras with sensors smaller than or equal to 1" are allowed. However, for interchangeable lens cameras, no "adopted" lenses are allowed.
All non-interchangeable lens cameras regardless of the sensor size and medium (digital or film) are allowed.
Interchangeable lens cameras with sensors larger than 1" are not allowed regardless of the size.
Mobile phones, tablets and any 110 film cameras are allowed regardless of the size.
Entries will close on March 31, 2020 midnight EDT.
Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.
List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.
No restrictions on when the entries were taken.
Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.
Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the contest closing date/time.

Most of all, have a good time with it! I'll post a few examples that are pretty loose.

Great entries everyone! Here's my first shot. Cross posted to Q forum.

Pentax Q7, Q 08 wide zoom at 3.8mm, cropped to 3:2 aspect ratio. Used photoshop to locally tame nasty red lens flare, pushed shadows and pulled highlights.

My second entry was taken with google pixel 3, converted to B/W and cropped to 3:2 on the phone.

Nature mimics zen garden by k kwb, on Flickr

What seems to be going on is that, when wind blows in the desert around here, tips of a dead grass sweeps the sand, leaving concentric arcs around the root. Some other types of interesting pattern are found in this too.

Two more very nice photographs. I've been working pretty intensely and distracted with the CV situation in NYC. Now home for the foreseeable future and getting back to the site. Keep 'em coming!

I'm a bit late for my doing but I finally found some time

Let me start by saying I'm glad to see some wonderful entries on this months theme.

Here are two of mine, both with Panasonic FX500. Both in a category I refer to as "Signs of religion".
From our 2018 vacation in Autria. In and around the Wallfahrtskirche in Frauenberg, Steiermark.
Processed just now. Yes, I have a bit of a "back log"

4.9mm (29mm equivalent), 1/8 at f/3.1, ISO 400

5.3mm (31mm equivalent), 1/640 at f/3.4, ISO 400

Pic of the family from North jetty, Newport Oregon, the other two are from Devils Punchbowl, Otter Rock Oregon. All taken over a week ago.

I especially like your 3rd entry, Sam. Symmetry-wise.

Great entry, Zippy. Fine choice for b&w with the shapes and textures.

I'll complete my set with this 3rd entry.
Not a new image but at least processed just now.

Panasonic FX500, 22mm (130mm equivalent), 1/500 at f/5.9, ISO 100
