Point and Shoot Competition #152 - Monochrome Landscapes

Hi all,

here is the Competition for the month of November. Show us your monochrome Landscapes! This can be a Black and White image or just a landscape without much color in it e.g. a foggy or rainy day. You can get creative with post processing as well.

Rules:

1. Always have fun!

2. Cameras:

Compact cameras
Sensor size does not matter.
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras (some exceptions below).
No (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted:
Mobile phones, tablets, small sensor toy cameras.
Pentax Q, Nikon 1, Ricoh GR, any 110 film, 35mm point and shoots from the 1980s/90s (e.g. Pentax PC35AF etc.)
Cameras you can take with you in a coat pocket.

ANY CAMERA BRAND ALLOWED.

3. Entries will close November 30st, 2020 midnight PST.

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the closing date/time.

Have fun!

Panasonic LX7 1/1.7" sensor (actually slightly smaller due to multi-aspect design.
Zoom set at 10.8mm (Roughly 55mm equivalent)
ISO 400, f4, 1/80 second

I agree. Obviously there are shots I've made of subjects like this that were totally boring and discarded, but most have some redeeming quality.

The subject for this month is a great one. Sam_I_Am, that last shot of the bridge is wonderful! Oregon’s coast is so varied and scenic, opportunity everywhere!

Agree, Jim, Oregon coast is beautiful! The two years I worked in Portland I tried to make it out to the coast as often as possible, mainly the Cannon Beach/Haystack Rock area. Excellent photos, folks!

Thanks everyone. Oregon is called "The Pacific Wonderland", and I could not agree more. Here is my last entry....I wish I could do more.

Again, my Galaxy S7, this time from Mt. Hood.
