Thanks. As for the AA and RAC thing, the RAC may have provided traffic signs many years ago but these days its the AA that seems to provide them for temporary events. I think they provided about 5000 Covid vaccination signs as a public service and you can't really blame them for the free advertising on the signs.

Lets hope so. Things are getting a lot better here in the UK but of course red poppies are also the symbol of remembrance here.

This one is a bit of a mystery to me. Why "don't enter" graphics and "you are magical"? Did the designer expect that it's in front of people admiring magical sunset? I keep wondering.

I learned a new word, thanks.

Hi Vendee, it's great that you submitted that one as I always enjoy seeing signs foreign to me, so please keep posting! I like the old style of the pole, how each letter seems to be a cut piece riveted(?) to the metal plate rather than printed, rust stain left on "Lower Stow Bedon" plate but not on others, and how a part of the pole is covered with some green stuff (mildew? moss?). Totally different atmosphere from where I live (see attached, shot with my old Panasonic DMC-FX1, note that middle of the scale is "High" fire danger).

Another example of interesting film look shot with an interesting film P&S camera, thanks! There should be one film camera left in my household somewhere, it should still have a roll of film that's at least 15 years old, waiting for an opportunity to be found by me to take some pictures.

Does lobster pound mean lobster factory, then? I like the style of the painting combined with the size. Quite American if you ask me.
The Smokey-the-Bear Fire sign is, simply, a classic. Thanks for posting it

Thanks for posting different kinds of signs not just street signs, capturing different seasons of the year, Bart! The street name made me smile too.

Nice bike, nice sign, nice colors! Titles like "Go anywhere, shoot any time" and "Ready to move, ready to shoot" came to my mind.

Thanks! It's sooc, bw setting with +4 contrast (maximum). That and the soft bw setting are more often than not exactly what I want so I keep the jpeg in addition to the raw backup
