It is our favourite corner

I love all entries. I too live in a rural enviremont with little signs but I found some old ones. These were taken at an old beguinage in Gant/Belgium
The text on the first entry says: I've been waiting for you for a long time. God

Last one was a sign in front of our house. Mist in harvest time when tractors coming from the land spray a load of clay mud on the roads which makes them very slippery. They're obliged to put up warning signs. "Slik" means mud.

Really cool signs, Titia!

I think I visited that beguinage as well

You have a great corner there, I understand why that's your favorite!

That's a creative framing, it's working great isn't it? The sign looks pretty tempting too!

Wow these are interesting signs, thanks Titia! (If you didn't tell, I could have never guessed that the first one was at a religious place.)

Thanks everybody, this is an extremely stiff competition. I'll ponder about all entries for a day and will come back to announce the winner. Bye for now!

Alright, it took me another day but I made up my mind.

Let me first thank all participants! Thanks for finding/seeing interesting signs for me, I enjoyed each and every picture you submitted. It was hard for me to select only one picture, but the winner is (drum roll....)

"TOES HERE" sign shot with a film P/S, congrats Huss! I really like how you carefully framed the sign, light and shadow to make one great composition. It's now your turn to set up the next P&S competition!

Close second (and it was REALLY close) was aaacb's "store window sign and some reflections", congrats aaacb! Fantastic B/W tone, combined with ghostly rider sign and the street in reflection, created almost dream-like atmosphere.

Thank you all again and see you in the next one!

Congrats to Huss for the winning photo and thanks to kwb for setting an interesting and challenging competition. I also liked aaacb's reflection shot and it certainly deserved to be up there. Looking forward to Huss's choice for the next competition.
