My lovely French Ericsson U43 Bakelite phone with its "mother-in-law" listening earpiece. This still works perfectly....... right up to the point where the automated system you called asks you to press 1 to listen to options

Tube headphone amp. Pentax Q7 with #01 normal lens (8.5mm).

Wanted to post Nakamichi tuner with giant "sundial" FM tuning knob. Unfortunately brother has it at his place.

Thanks,

barondla

I'm a big tube fan myself, nice to see an upclose and personal look at that unit!

Whew! A tough one to judge.

I'm going with Vendee's French Ericsson U43 Bakelite phone.

Beautiful monochrome tonality and a really quirky dial.
Thanks everyone, and congrats to Vendee.

Thank you very much.... I am honoured. Thanks to Cipher for an interesting and challenging subect. Thanks to everyone else for their inventive entries.

I'm on holiday at the moment but I'll be home by Sunday 5th so I'll put up the new competition then. I've got a good idea what it will be but would prefer to do it from the comfort of my PC rather than my phone.
