Point and Shoot competition #166 - Reflecting

I think this theme can take you in a lot of directions.

Simple and straight forward, any image that holds a reflection from an object or light.
Showing someone reflecting on something, like variations on the Thinker.
Making us reflect on your image or images.
Or be adventurous and bring your own interpretation of the theme

I'm very curious for what you'll bring to this Thread.

Rules:

1. Always have fun!

2. Cameras:

No cameras with sensors larger than 1"
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras (some exceptions below).
No (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted:
Mobile phones, tablets, small sensor toy cameras.
Pentax Q, Nikon 1, Ricoh GR, any 110 film, 35mm point and shoots from the 1980s/90s (e.g. Pentax PC35AF etc.)
Cameras you can take with you in a coat pocket.

ANY CAMERA BRAND ALLOWED.

3. Entries will close January 31st, 2022 midnight CDT.

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand and model with your entries. Exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the contest closing date/time.

Since I'm not participating anyway, I'll just kick things off with some from the straight forward interpretation

Ok, so when I read the subject brief, I had a photo in mind, an older photo but a favourite of mine. The camera was a 2005 era Minolta DiMAGE A200. As far as I can tell, it meets the competition requirements being 2/3" sensor, non-interchangeable lens, 580gm weight.

The photo was taken in Saint Malo, France and the original photo showed the boat and its reflection in the water. I cropped it so that only the reflection remained. Then I inverted the photo.

Motorola One 5G Plus. I'm back at shooting a small sensor sometimes, though I have to say the over-sharpened results from cell phones still aren't my cup of tea. But at least the distortion in this cell phone is relatively well controlled and the f1.7 aperture is better than anything I've had.

Straight from the cell phone, no editing.

This is where we stop to look at the pond

This was taken on an unexpected layover in Vancouver a few years ago with my phone, a Motorola Moto x play. I still miss the camera in that phone, but the battery had gotten to the point it wouldn't work in cold weather.

This one was taken with my current P20 pro, which I bought because it was supposed to have the best camera available at the time. I was a bit disappointed after the previous Motorola, but it isn't terrible. This was taken on the way to the top of the mountain in the picture, and I didn't want to pack any more weight than necessary, so I left my K20D in my tent. I hiked back in a few weeks later with better cameras and a real tripod because my wife wanted a print for the livingroom wall.

One more from Piedmont Park... to make it 3. In this one I like the reflection which ends up being subtle, and mostly the dramatic clouds...
