Point and Shoot Competition #169 - Transitions

Since I am in the midst of some big transitions--retirement, sorting through life, packing, relocation, etc., I thought transitions could be a great theme. Every day is a transition, every moment. There are rhythms to all of life. Transitions can show opposites as one, light and dark, past and present or future, life changes, certainly. Use your imagination, any aspect or interpretation of transition is welcome.

I have copied the rules from last month.

Rules:

1. Always have fun!

2. Cameras:

No cameras with sensors larger than 1"
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras (some exceptions below).
No (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted:
Mobile phones, tablets, small sensor toy cameras.
Pentax Q, Nikon 1, Ricoh GR, any 110 film, 35mm point and shoots from the 1980s/90s (e.g. Pentax PC35AF etc.)
Cameras you can take with you in a coat pocket.

ANY CAMERA BRAND ALLOWED.

3. Entries will close April 30, 2022 midnight GMT.

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the contest closing date/time.

Hmmmm...I think the challenge for me will be figuring out how to show transition in a single picture.

From Earth to the stars.

Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk. Google Pixel 6.

I bought my Pixel 6 a couple of months ago. I didn't buy it for the camera and to be honest, for daylight shots I don't really like it. It doesn't allow any control over shutter speed or aperture and it sometimes does silly things that make the shot look unnatural but......... for night shots it is awesome. This was hand held and the computational software really comes into its own.

The weather has been nice and warm for a couple of weeks, and this happened today. I'm worried about our spring flowers in the back yard, especially the new ones we've just planted.
Anyway, transition from dry(-ish) to wet to frozen, or maybe from patio to yard to neighbors. Pentax Q7 and Q 01 lens, ISO100, F2.5, 1/320 sec. Applied Satobi profile in Pentax Digital Camera Utility.

My last entry.
This shows a transition I've been enjoying in the past 10 days after the previous picture was taken. Colors of green kept creeping up to the top of the mountain as the snow melted away.
Again Pentax Q7, Q 01 lens, F/4, ISO 100 and 1/1000 sec.
