Point and Shoot Competition #171 - The Secret Life of Plants

This was a very difficult contest to judge. I set a complex theme, and you all responded. I am working on finalizing the judging. I apologize this is taking longer than expected.

This was tough. I ultimately selected @Cipher as our winner. The two images that really grabbed my attention were the leaf with the insect and the leaf with the three drops of water. Both took the theme in a direction I had not really considered but were on point and expressed something about the secret life plants live. In the end the one with the insect won my admiration and it’s the winner followed closely by the one with droplets.

Other notable entries include Barondla with the purple flowers next to a drain spout. Bart with the flowers in the wall and plants in the icy sand.

Thanks, this was an excellent theme, lots of great entries and some new faces.

Now I'm on the spot to equal it.

I'll give the new theme some thought and should have it by the end of the day.
