Welcome to contest #177. Time can be short during the holiday season. So, I'm leaving the theme open to make it easier to enter. Fire up the camera and shoot what you want.

Rules:

1. Always have fun!

2. Cameras:

No cameras with sensors larger than 1" (some exceptions below).
No large format or camera typically requiring a tripod to use.
No interchangeable lens cameras (some exceptions below).
No (D)SLRs or any camera weighing over 1kg.

Cameras permitted:
Mobile phones, tablets, small sensor toy cameras.
Pentax Q, Nikon 1, Ricoh GR, any 110 film, 35mm point and shoots from the 1980s/90s (e.g. Pentax PC35AF etc.)
Cameras you can take with you in a coat pocket.

ANY CAMERA BRAND ALLOWED.

3. Entries will close December 31, 2022 midnight CST.

4. Maximum image dimensions are 1024x768 (ish) pixels.

5. List camera brand and model with entry for all to see, and exposure data would be nice.

6. No restrictions on when the entries were taken.

7. Contest winner determines the rules, selects theme, sets closing date and judges the next competition.

8. Enter up to three images, however you may change your entries as many times as you like up to the contest ending.

Some woodlands photography with my GR III. You could totally use the GR III as a landscape camera especially with the 21mm lens adapter (not used here).

Here is an RGB image trio of Icelandic singer Neonme, background colors from stage lighting. Pentax Q-S1, 50mm Cosmicar f1.4@f2, 1/60 sec, ISO400:

All images cropped slightly, adjusted for contrast and sharpness.

A simple snap of the riotous colors on our front walk a couple of weeks ago. In truth, I just wanted to send my wife a text showing her the trees had dumped all the leaves, but it turned out quite nice (now serving as my wallpaper image til the next whimsy chooses something else). Shot with my Samsung Galaxy S9 phone.

Wow! You guys really stepped it up for this contest. Very difficult to decide. The beautiful fall leaves in RoxnDox's image keeps drawing me in. I particularly like the fact he didn't go crazy, with the color saturation, in post processing. Congratulations RoxnDox you are the winner of contest #177. You now get to set up and run #178.
Thanks to all the other participants for the wonderful entries. I enjoyed them all. Now looking forward to #178 and a new year.
