Reg: Pentax optio m40

Hi
Can somebody help me dismantle my M40? Believe it or not i usually fix my
own cameras Nikon S6c S7c Canon A1 and never had a problem but with
my Optio M40 i am stuck in the middle of the process. What i want is just to
remove sand inside the lens which effect focusing.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Regards: Marios

Marios, it may take a while before someone answers and it's possible nobody here can help you.
In the meantime, why don't you go here; PENTAX Digital Cameras and DSLRs - Official PENTAX Imaging Web Site If you email them and tell them your situation, someone might be kind enough to help you.
If you get the opportunity, you might want to think about getting yourself one of the Optio W series, they can be used underwater so they are obviously well sealed and you wouldn't have to worry about sand getting in.
