Problem with Z10

I bought my camera 13 months ago and it has worked well. Now when I open the camera to take a photo, there are fine coloured lines on the digital display. They cover most of the display area. When I take a photo, the lines remain. When I check the image, the lines are still there.

When I attempt to downlaod, the lines do not show on the computer, images.

Although initially I had a problem downloading from the camera (via Wizard), it worked OK the third try.

Can anyone assist?

Hello. Welcome to the forum. It sounds like the display on the camera has gone bad. Has the camera been dropped recently? I haven't heard of the screens going out on these, but perhaps someone else can help with that.

Based on your description, it is definately the display screen problem.
Has the camera being knock around or dropped on the floor as asked by Portland Pete earlier?
You need to get the display function checked and see if the problem can be resolved.
