I'm interested in starting to use the video capabilities of my k-7, and I'm looking to find a microphone for improved sound quality.

I know the recommended microphone is the Rode StereoMic, but it's a bit large and too expensive for what I'd like.

I found a cheaper, smaller mic (which I know will not produce sound with matching quality to the Rode). Does anyone have any experience with the Azden SMX-10? It can be found for less than $100 and provides stereo sound.

Any other options at that price point?
