K-x Video and Premiere Elements, Not??

I'm trying to load several avi files from my K-x into Adobe Premiere Elements 8, the most recent version. I get the message, "Unsupported audio rate in file," and AP refuses to load them. I checked the video with GSpot, which indicated that I have all the codecs installed.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm running on Windows 7 64-bit.

I seem to have solved this by installing the Morgan M-JPEG codec, per this discussion:

Adobe Forums: Pentax K-X issues with CS4 (MJPEG codec)

Best wishes!
