K5 Effective recording pixels for video

Does the new K5 use all itspixels on its sensor for full HD when recording as opposed to what I learnt about the Canon. Especially the new 60D.

That is for an ext HD monitor display, no DSLR uses more than 2mp for 1080p recordings.

Thanks for pointing out this article. I already discoverd that Canon had similar problems.
