Aquarium- K-x with DA 35 f2.4

I just got my new DA 35 and wanted to play around.

I took the AVI into Final Cut and desaturated a little bit, added a silly sound effect.

The DOF at 2.4 is very thin, and I need to get better at tracking focus, but I ws impressed with the performance of the K-x and this lens.

Very cool slinky! Looks like a fun combo.

Manual focus tracking takes quite a bit of practice, and is different between lenses. You can practice by trying to snap to focus various points in a scene over and over again (and varying the scene occasionally); that will give you good instinctive focusing skills, which will translate to tracking as well.
