Peregrine falcon in our front yard...

Filmed with a K-5, DA* 60-250mm + Pentax 1.7 AF TC at maximum length
Filmed trough a glass door....

Nice capture! Getting even closer would have been great if you had the lens. Well done, and you did not spook it away!

Great job. The bird didn't seem to know you were there at all. It was nervous and looking around a lot, but didn't appeaer to notice the camera. Did he/she finish the meal before flying off?

I almost never shoot a video, but there are advantages.

No, it did not finish, a delivery boy brought a package, scaring it away.
It sat there for about 15 minutes. It took its prey with.
I was filming behind a door with a glass window.

I'll clean up the mess he left behind this weekend...
