My first Video

Here is my first attempt of video making with my K5. I had to shoot a 90 second (max) video for a competition I am entering. I would certainly do things a little differently next time but I am rather pleased with the results.

Thanks for watching

Lee

Very nice. The "Natural Beauty" moon shot is a bit much.

Consider using a stabilizer.

Lee, great work I really like how you tilted the picture frame from left to right. But what about the food?? I've had some of the best seafood when I go to Cape Cod!

I think this is excellent. The shaky between-still effect works very well, I think. Congratulations.

Lee, I love the idea, and I think you executed it extremely well. I have to admit, the shaky motion was becoming difficult to watch by the end of it, though. I was watching it in full screen.

Thank you for the kind words .....

The video reached the finals and then received enough votes to be one of the winners. So pumped! The project really was a ton of fun and has inspired me to do some more. To be honest I rather like the fact that you cannot auto-focus on the fly. It forces you to think about things a little more than normal ....

Thanks again

Lee

Congratulations! You did an excellent job. If that was really your first video project, you have an unbelievable amount of potential.
