Not yet. Apparently still shoots cropped video and SR function is implemented in a very bad way, via software.

Oh ... sorry to hear this !

Please talk about that "cropped video"
what it means. and why you believe the K-3 got this.
But I see now, this is discussed in the other thread over there

to be honest, the cropped video does not really concern me. it is only slight and does it really matter for video...?
Lets assume for now that the digital SR is implemented in a better way this time. It can be, sony does it...
Besides, it is not like other dslr makers do so well in the stabilizing area.

I think for someone with pentax glass, the manual control on the K3 turns pentax competitive & i have high hopes for the image quality. And in the end, they do have nice glass for videographers

This sub-board especially for K-3 video questions doesn't have enough interested people,
even if it was planned just for this purpose.

But this thread comes closer at least it adds up to the vitality and traffic:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/172-pentax-k-3/241582-k-3-good-video.html

We, the last Pentax-Video-Dreamers need some kind of guided sightseeing to find
those few and rare hints about the new K-3 - they are desperately looking for ;-(

Seems dumb not to support using SR for video then. Only other excuse would be battery power...

Someone, somewhere, said it so nice and poetically:
If you have switched on the liveview on the old Pentaxes
it sounds like the shaking glass of a broken vacuum flask..

I think they may have feared this hard working gyro was a
nuisance to most users who want a silent blimp and no rattle
and shake ? I also want to be gentle with my K-7 and give it a rest
after almost all takes - but this is a must anyway - to switch off the liveview,
so the sensor can cool down again between to takes. That heating-up of the
sensor (in the K-7) is so backwardly and odd like things were in the good old
times of streamrollers and stagecoaches ...

If you don't know the difference between K-7 and K-5 and those minor SR effects
in cameras of other brands with their expensive SR glasses, you might easily agree
to this matter of taking away the good mechanical SR in K-30 and K.3 - but if you know
the quality of that old Pentax SR - you don't want to miss it anymore.

Of course you will have an additional microphone on top of your camera anyway (at least)
so who cares about some noices there in the body ...

Great quality with a tripod, same as my K30. Great colours and dynamic range. And many options before processing the video.
