Hiking trip using SR

Ok,
this was a nice test.
I decided to shoot everything handheld with SR on. Except for shots with animals, i had a small tripod with me.
I mostly used a 28mm 2.8 lens.

You'll be the judge.

Those were some good compositions and beautiful scenes. I'm jealous. Great work!

Pretty, but hating the SR,.. Music and pacing of editing work really well, as does balance between music and live sound

I know how you feel.
In a way, for this kind of holiday movies, I can live with it.
Although, next time around, i'll probably take a monopod instead.

Based myself a bit on this movie i found, although the Elzas does not have the scenic environment as the south US. :-)
Really worth looking into. He used a canon 7d with a 24mm 1.4. Wonder how he stabilised it...

lololol....

Stabilised in post. Goes a little soft where it's digitally zoomed a few percent to create the space on which to move the frame around - doing it in post works the same or better as having Digital SR on a Global Shutter sensor.

And pause it on the truck at 1:20, see if you noticed what I do.
