Here's my first attempt of time-lapse video. It went well until the camera froze at about 3/4 of the way into the drawing... We didn't notice since the shutter was still firing, but nothing was being recorded on the SD card along with the top display showing figures... After discovering this I couldn't turn off the camera, the battery had to be removed and after this the camera was working again...

Cool! Was this the K-5 you had problems with?

Yeah, it was the K-5, it was weird as usually never have problems with it... Maybe there was a glitch when one of the batteries was depleted and the camera was switching between them (had a grip on and auto battery selection)...

I've had similar problems with the k-30 on timelapse/interval shooting mode. Sounds great as a good sales feature but something deep is wrong with the code in this. Freezes/locks with no reason given to the end user
