Pentax K-01 Time Lapse: Sea vs Sky

Hello,
I finally purchased Pentax K-01 from my colleague. This is my second Pentax camera, beside my beloved K-3, and main purpose of K-01 is Time Lapse photography. This is my new Time Lapse project from 2048 photos. Any comment is appreciated.

Best regards from Croatia.

The K-01 is not a DSLR. There's no mirror and no mechanism to lift a mirror out of the way.
It's a mirrorless camera, an ILC (Interchangeable Lens Camera).

(Panasonic like to call their mirrorless cameras DSLM)

Hey Steve. Thanks for the comment. And, yes, you are absolutely right, K-01 is not DSLR, my mistake.

Nice. Both sea and clouds are great subjects for time lapses.

The K-01 has quite a bit going for it IMO. I must borrow my wifes more often.

That's lovely. The water is so clear. What are the details of the set up?

Thanks! The lens is 10-17mm FishEye, Manual focus close to infinity. White Balance also manual, ISO 100, F3.5. I took four different sets of photos, one with 1/2000 shutter speed, two with 1/1600, and one 1/1250.

And how far apart was each shot? Seems to be very short intervals.

First set two second, second and third four seconds, and last one five seconds.

Ah, that's why I got the impression I was looking at sped up video footage I'm used to thinking of time lapse frames being minutes apart rather than seconds. Of course that depends on the subjects being photographed, sprouting seeds for example are best at 5 minutes apart at least.

ah, you were the one that was planning to buy my k01 but didn't let me know something anymore. Bad habit.. no hard feelings though, i know how it goes.. :-)
I'm glad i didn't get rid of it. it is still useful for when i do some multicam video or need a 3rd battery with my k3...

good that you did manage to get you hands on one.
Croatia looks lovely. I really like the impression of slowing down & speeding up btw...!

Hey! You are from Belgium, if I remember? I send you a message, but you didn't respond!? I'm sorry for misunderstanding, obviously something going wrong. I'm really sorry.
Anyway, thanks for the comment. K-01 is amazing camera for Time lapse, I borrow this one couple times from my colleague, and final he accept my offer, so I bought camera. I love Time lapse, but I don't won't use my K-3 for that kind of photography, and that was main reason for purchasing K-01. Also, all my lenses are compatible with K-01.
This spring and summer I planing do more Time lapse projects and I'm looking forward to it. Here in my part of Croatia weather is almost all the time perfect for Time lapse. Lots of sun, clouds, windy... And Sea.
Thanks one more time, and best regards.
