Yes I know, same on K-7 and K-50, but S and Fine S are not uniquely settable. Change S to -2 and FS will be -2, change FS to -3 and S will become -3.
As I say, I've never quite understood the difference and not been bothered enough about it to find out, shooting RAW for stills means I don't need to.

I meant, can you shoot something on those setting on your K-50
Oh right. OK
But which mode, P, Av or M ?
And if M what settings? 30p/24p/24p ? What ISO? 100 or Auto? Which WB, Auto or Daylight? What about exposure metering? Spot and Locked or Matrix? Shadow correction enabled or not? Highlight correction enabled or not?

Ohhh, wiseguy,....

Video, M, 25p, ISO100, Daylight, Muted (as described before), zero shadow, highlight or noise corrections.

Metering, bah, ENG don't use no steeeenking metering, we use waveforms and zebras.

Question - how does K-3 video compare to K-30 video? My K-30 produces really soft footage.
Sorry OP! That's my fault.

Guys, how would you cut a metal concert? To the beat? Find another rythm? I'm struggling a bit, what looks good when editing (rewinding, searching for the right beat...) doesn't look that good on the big screen.

Not words you normally find in the same sentence.

Hi, I just want to share my first work with a music video. It was filmed in two days and I used my Pentax K3 with a Rokinon 8mm and the Tamron 17-50mm 2.8. The 60fps video feature was very useful to accomplish the slow motion scenes!

Hope you like it!
This is really good - lots of great techniques in there. I have no experience or ability in video, but even I can appreciate a lot of what you were doing. I'm particularly interested in the sequences with the band playing, where you move the camera from right to left or vice versa. Very smoothly done, and with the wide angle lens it is very effective. Was that shot hand-held, or were you using rails of some sort?

Again, excellent work - thanks for sharing it! Oh, and the band are great too

Thanks! All the shots were hand-held and were stabilized in post, this kind of stabilization gives a crop on the original video, but thanks to the wide shots, it doesn't affect that much. Here are some behind the scenes photos:

Thanks for those "in the making" shots - great fun to see you "in action"

I'd never even thought about image stabilization in post-processing, but it makes absolute sense. Very clever software, for sure. Well, your work with the camera and in post-processing certainly yielded professional results, not to mention your composition. Fine work!
