My first music video

Hi, I just want to share my first work with a music video. It was filmed in two days and I used my Pentax K3 with a Rokinon 8mm and the Tamron 17-50mm 2.8. The 60fps video feature was very useful to accomplish the slow motion scenes!

Good job! I really like the 8mm distorted effect, especially when the singer is singing into the mic. Cool effect.

Perhaps you could give us a rundown of how you produced it? thanks!

Shure! The first day was outside (the slow motion scenes), these were shot with the Tamron 17-50 and were the most difficult part. I had to record the song at double the speed and made the members of the band to switch the cardboards in synch with the music. Then in post production (I used Sony Vegas) the speed of the recorded video was reduced to half the speed and then synchronized with the normal speed song. The second day was easier, just made the members of the band play their instruments in synch with the music, for these shots I used the 8mm and I really liked the distortion effect from it.

Yeah, I know many people in this forum doesn't speak spanish, so here is a quick translation:

-Prendelo, apagalo, siempre suena la misma cancion

Very nice work! I also like the 8mm fisheye effect and an interesting choice to go B&W. What setup did you use to stabilize the K-3?
