Thought I would add a video I shot with my K-X a few weeks ago.
Nothing fancy just experimenting with different shots, lenses and DOF

As I asked on Vimeo, has anyone got any tips on nailing manual focus? I noticed only when playing back on my computer that some shots were abit out. Thanks!

Some very nicely shot scenes in this. I particularly liked the character shots of the locals, and the jumping beach dogs.

That video worked out well. I'm curious about a few details:

- how did you do the audio?
- you handled the lighting well. Did you use the AE lock trick to freeze the ISO/aperture settings?
- how many K-x photographers were involved? There seems to have been about 2 photographers (?), or was it just the editing that gives that impression?
- lenses used?

Yes, I used AE lock all the time and set it in AV mode. The video was shot with lowest contrast and a bit lower saturation than normal. I corrected levels and colours in VirtualDub and removed noise with NeatVideo. The editing was done in Linux with Cinelerra.

Only one K-x was used. The video was made from three different plays of the same song.

Almost all of the video was shot with Helios 44M lens at f2.0. Some parts were shot with Auto Chinon 135 mm f2.8 M42 lens.

A Dream i made it's not to make many sense and yes you can see the camera as a reflection, i did it with a 0 budget and a diy dolly.
