Image stabilization doesn't work in movie mode

It works fine in photo mode, but not movie. It lets me select it in the movie menu but turns off when I leave the menu.
When I go back into movie menu it is still selected on. I don't get it. Anyone else have the same problem, or a suggestion?

Ran into the same problem today. In my case, it was in "remote trigger" mode.

Ah yes, that was it. Thanks very much! I even noticed remote trigger was on and turned it off, but then I neglected to turn I.S. on again.
