Quality levels on K-x?

I'm loving my new K-x and it's video mode. Tough to say goodbye to my K100D, but the new camera looks to be special...

I was wondering about the quality levels on the K-x. Check out this video that someone posted to Vimeo comparing the three quality levels both in stills and in motion:



There doesn't appear to be much difference in quality between them! The difference in size is tremendous, though.

What do you all think? Stick with 1 star primarily, or not?

Very informative! The differences probably show up when you try to do a lot of PP work to it - good to know though since I don't PP my videos!

edit: i notice the effects on the smooth gradients (the bokeh), looking similar to JPEG compression (and this is motion JPEG..) Also, I wonder if vimeo does any kind of recompression which would limit the visual differences online ?
