Hi everyone..just wondering if any K7 owners experience flickering video when shooting under fluorescent or street lights? Just wondering if there is a way to overcome this problem? I'm using a manual prime lens btw.

I get flicker with my k5 under floresent lights. I also have a k7 but have not tried this. If you look at this video (you can fast forward to 1:50 in the video) you can see my flicker. I slowed down the video so the flicker is not as prominent but is still there.

Would it be possible to hack Pentax in a way so that the lowest shutter speed would be 1/50 instead of 1/24(1/25)? Then any ISO could be set above 100 the usual workaround way without having to go down to the smudgy 1/24. It sounds a lot simpler than trying to implement a complete manul mode through hacking.
What do you guys think?
