K-7 Upgrade Firmware Version 1.03

QuoteQuote:
I've just installed it. I don't have FA lenses, but I can confirm that SDHC card video recording is improved. Tested with Sandisk Ultra II (class 4) that wasn't able to record more than 2:30 min of video before. Now it works, recording doesn't stop.

Yes, I can confirm this. I have a Sandisk VideoHD card (class 4) and couldn't record more than a minute or two on version 1.02. But on version 1.03, it record up to full 9 minutes on this card.

Same with an Integral Ultima Pro (Class 6) that previously didn't work for video and now does.

Good to know that even a Class 4 card can be used for video - presumably with the highest resolution?

Hi folks,

Is there any way one can get the firmware update without needing a 32 GB card?

I have a 16 GB card, but specs require a 32?

Cheers,
keebler

Keebler, you only need 32MB (not 32GB) of space - that means you can use any SD card which will do the job.

To write a "FAT" software code with that size 32GB, it will take years and a team of software developers; and not only that, you will definitely need a new generation of hardware to run on it.
