K-X video looks like high ISO?

Using the movie function there is a lot of noise in the video, could it be that it is low light and it would be set on 6400 ISO? Does anyone know how the video function works inside the camera? (like does it just expose the sensor the whole time?

Unless there is little light there should not be a lot of noise

The ISO will vary depending on light levels. In low light the ISO will climb to 1600 ... beyond that the camera will begin to underexpose.
