Rufous Hummingbird feeding 2 babies in a nest

I discovered a tiny little nest on a walk with my family at Lake Padden, WA on Saturday. I returned today, (Sunday) morning to get some pictures and video. The adult would not land if I was near, so I had to set the camera up on a tripod and walk away. When I came back to see what I had captured, I was pleased to see this Rufous Hummingbird feeding it's young.

Shot with a Pentax K7 camera, with a Pentax DA 55-300 mm lense, at full 300 mm zoom.

Ahh its Springtime and people are posting some very interesting wildlife shots. Smart move to leave the camera and walk away. Almost makes me want a K7 now.
