Is there a difference in video quality? USB transfer vs SD?

Noob question, but I was wondering if there is a difference in video quality if its transfered via USB cable instead of plugging in the SD card? The camera is a K-X.

Shouldn't make any difference. Perhaps there is a difference in transfer speed.

Absolutely no difference in quality - the resulting two files will be identical.
