Odd lenses for video

Are any of you using somewhat odd lenses for shooting video? I got tired of switching lenses around depending on whether I was shooting stills or video, so I took some of my lenses that weren't getting used that much and made up a video kit that's actually working pretty well for me. I've got a Pentax 17-70mm for my wide to medium stuff. The autofocus motor doesn't work, but I'm mostly shooting landscape and nature things with this kit so manually focusing isn't much of an issue. I have an old Vivitar Series 1 90-180mm zoom for my telephoto stuff and a Soligor CD 500mm mirror lens for longer range. I also carry a K series 50mm f4 macro for really close-up things. It all fits pretty neatly in a canvas bag that's easy to carry. Do any of the rest of you have maybe an odd 50mm or something that you like to use for video?

Check out older screw mount lenses like the SMC 35mmF2 , or any other SMC Screw Mount. I do not shoot video, I have seen some good results from these lenses on a couple You Tubes.

Depends on what I'm filming.

If I'm just pulling the K-01 out when I see something happening, I'll use a DA40XS most of the time, followed by the 18-55 kit lens and DA35.

If I'm shooting behind scenes on a production, I'll use the same, and maybe the KM 50 1.7 or Sigma 24mm 2.8.

If I'm the Cinematographer, I'll be using 24, 35, 50, 85, 100, 135 and 200, all KM/KA SMC with everything except the 200 being 2.8 or faster, stopped down to what looks right for a scene.

I'm adding P67's to my kit now for projects intended for Cinema release.

And sometimes I'll use a Formula5 400mm, or a generic 500mm reflector, on a rock solid tripod, just because I can
