AA battery life with video

Anyone know what the battery life would be with AA batteries in the battery grip when shooting video. I am not going to have access to recharge batteries so will have to rely on the AAs, I am trying to guess how many I will need to take.
Thanks

I had to use some alkalines in the grip once and they did not last long at all shooting video, maybe about 40 minutes of turning the camera on and off and shooting shots. I'm sure lithiums would do much better.
