My class final

I teach a Solidworks class and for the first term's final we design pinewood derby specification cars. After design we print them on our 3D rapid prototyping printer. A very fun project and here are some of the cars running down the track. (Very brief video.) Video editing is not my thing but I did my best. An no, the cars at the start of each heat are not the same as the cars at the end. Oh well. Get over it. :-) Had I staged the cars for a video and not a real competition, things would have been different. We had fun!

Nice video, looks like you did have fun! I used to do logistics for a bottle making manufacturer (perfume bottles, cosmetics containers and the like) and they had a 3D model maker as well. Unfortunately we didn't get to make anything as fun as toy racing cars. Somehow a perfume bottle isn't as exciting. Oh well
