Does setting the ISO/sensitivity range work in Movie Mode?

I have a K-X. If I set the auto ISO range in still mode (say, 100 - 800 ISO, for example) does this setting stay in effect when I switch to Movie Mode?

Or does the K-X reset the ISO range to 100 to 3200 in Movie Mode?

this kinda sucks

is there any chance that i can hack the camera and turn off auto sensitivity? it makes everything look like home movies. this is an awful mistake, and i would not have bought the k-5 had i known.

any knowledge base out there to help?

This is stickied at the top of this forum. It works with my k5. I was actually kicking myself for not testing it out sooner.

that doesn't work for me, because i can't enter Live View with my prime K mount lenses. it's a cool work around, but it doesn't help me, unfortunately, and i'd rather just have the functionality.

thanks
