Out the other morning for a particular shot just after dawn. For various reasons it didn't work out so took these ones instead. A nice morning.

Mark, you sure run into a lot of fog where you live! Nice shots.

Only had a couple out of the last dozen dawns - and thats when I've been planning for them. Too tired to do any more for a few days. At this time of year it feels like I'm setting the alarm for 5 minutes after I've gone to bed. The Eden Valley is blessed with a lot of mist which must have something to do with the geography of the spot.

Travelled through Suwon in South Korea yesterday. Stopped off at a toilet museum (yes, really!) the building is actually the shape of a toilet. Afterwards went to the old King's residence

The colleague from the Korean company that I work with is always very helpful and she demonstrated how the KIng killed one of his grown sons by locking him in a fairly small box where he starved to death - she looks suitably forlorn:

All with Nikon D800 and Nikkor 24 - 70

It's suppose to be BW. And not just any BW. It has to have crushed blacks and look like someone just learning how to develop their first roll of small format BW film and getting poor tonal scale. At least that's what seems to be the stereotype in this genera anyway.
