B&W landscapes

Lovely B&W portraits of your wife, axl and cute photos of your kid.
You're really getting along very well with your new camera.

Marvellous light, buskel.

These next shots are actually the Sigma 50-150 2.8 HSM II in DX mode (automatically cropped to aps-c dimensions.) It's about 5MP in DX mode.

Took the summer car out of storage because the weather in Southern Ontario is so damn nice. Shot of my girls as we cruised around Elora, ON.

Thanks!
Yes, I have to admit I've fallen in love with it. Just as I did back in the days with K10D.
I have to admit the pictures coming out of 1D3 spank 7D, K-7 or K-7 without an effort...

lovely series of landscapes you posted there! Truly great captures..

and here are few goodies from 1D3 and EF50/1.4

"signs of life" f1.6

"hazy hide park morning" @f5.6

"cheeky chappy" @f1.4

"where is teddy?"

Yes, Axl, turned two in January, thx for asking. Your little one is remarkably photogenic, brings a smile every time I see one of your shots.

And this landscape made me pause:

180 2.8 on D700

f/2.8 - like the how the distracting strong geometry of the swing poles were dissolved a bit here in the background:

f/2.8 - bringing dad a 'shamrock shake' he made (St Patty's day obviously left an impression )

f/4, getting closer

Downfall, ho do you find the 35L? I've read many good things about it and it is more affordable than 24L so I might be getting it...at some point in the future

The 35L is a really great lens. Once you get used to that focal length you realize it is very general especially when it is 1.4 so you can get nice bokeh with it too . Otherwise, sharpness, colors, focus is great I can recommend it
