Some wonderful shots in this page - impossible to choose favourites from Nibutto's set.

View to a Kill - Eurasian Kestrel on Yang Shan Island.

The Snatch

Return to the Open Skies

The Coup d'Grace
I really like the second one! Fantastic catch.

Simon, 100 Zeiss is an incredibile lens. I have used it 90% wide open. When you nail focus at f2 subject jumps out from the monitor... The point is: nail focus... I need time to take my pic, big help is zooming in live view. I set up my Nikon with maximum sharpness (9) and middle contrast to help focus peaking. No problem for me, I never shot jpg. But 100 can be incredibile also closed for landscape, so sharp corner to corner. And what to say using for macro.. So sharp in focus and very good butter bokeh. With the 21 and 35 is more simple to nail focus. So, if you need the lens for wedding I think is not the best. I'm not a professional and I like to take my time for every shot. I'm happy you liked the pics, thanks a lot.

Excellent additions from everyone, especially loving the first kestrel shot and the extensive tour of Rome

Just a quick post-service shot from earlier today, lest we forget. 85/1.8D:

Thats just the way I cropped it, in the original there was a poster on the wall and I found it distracting so I did a slight crop and sacrificed the foot.

Am in Tokyo at the moment and took a trip to Akhihabara and to the huge Yodabashi Camera store. Not as good value as last year as the Yen has really jumped up. Still managed to save around £100 on the Zeiss 35 f/2 ZF.2. So I have my baby back after selling my Canon fit one. They had the full range there from 15mm right up to the 100 macro. I was very tempted to pick up a few - did try the 25 f/2.8 but felt that the 35 focal length was better for a good walkabout lens.

It shouldn't be too hard especially in B&W to get rid of it and keeping the foot would look much better than cropping it out IMO
