Spent the afternoon in the Langdale Valley in the Lake District. Some fine cloud came over the type that the sun can get through the worst kind for photography as everything gets blown out, so I had a couple of pints of good ale in the Britannia Inn in Eltewater village sat outside until the cloud cleared away...then returned after a wander and had dinner before heading to Elterwater itself (the 'lake' - though strictly it's a 'water' - The English Lake District has only One lake - bassenthwaite. The remainder are tarns, meres, or waters)
