Discussing Image Sensor Evolution and the Future of Imaging at the ISSCC 2010 Plenary Session
at February 7 to 11, 2010, in San Francisco

What about 10fps 5k x 3k FF sensors? Seems like 1000 fps would be overkill for an SLR sensor.

Of course, 1000fps are overkill. Looking at the slides, it is a serious wish though. Slomo for a child's smile or so...

1000fps at 8MP should translate to 100fps at 80MP which should be their target for an FF sensor...

All very ambitious figures. Unfortunately, he forgot to mention the current project time schedules...
