Wow, very nice tones and sharpness! Color me jealous!

What M43 adapter are you using? I'm looking at the Novoflex primarily for the Aperture ring...

thx for sharing.

That one is the RainbowImaging Camera Pentax PK K-mount Lens to Micro 4/3 Four Thirds System Camera Mount Adapter :

I also have the Fotodiox Lens Mount Adapter with Aperture Dial, Digital Pentax AF Lens to MFT Micro 4/3 Four Thirds System Camera Mount Adapter coming for use with Pentax DA mount lenses.

It has a ring that controls the aperture on lenses without aperture ring.

The forum I go to the most is the Panasonic GH1/GH2 forum on DVXuser because I only use my GH2 for HD video.

is any of the image cropped or is it just like if you had a normal lens on? Anyone have the specifications behind k-mount + GH2 combo? I need a camera that can take stills and do 60fps video. At first I was considering the K-x but if there are no drawbacks to using the adapter than I'm settling on the GH-2.

The m4/3rds have a 2x crop compared to 35mm/FF so a 50mm works like a 100mm on the GH2 compared to 50mm on 35mm/FF . A 50mm works like a 75mm on the Pentax DSLRs. A 25mm on the GH2 works like a 50mm on 35mm/FF .

You must remember there is no AF with the GH2 unless you use one of the Panasonic lenses on this list:
Compatibilities of DMC-GH2 | Compatibility | Digital Camera | Product Support | Support | Panasonic Global

The GH2 records in 1080p60 mode but outputs in 1080p24 or 1080i60 mode. A firmware upgrade or hack like the GH1/GH13 may make that possible soon. The best lens for both stills and video is the Voigtlander 25mm F0.95 Micro Four Thirds lens that is much sharper than any normal angle lens I have seen.

It appears this Nocton lens has already become difficult to locate.
