I doubt it. That thing looks retro. It's got to be someone's photoshop job...

Does anyone know if the NEX C3 will have the same 16.2 MPixel sensor that's in the K-5? If so, that might be a nice 'second camera' with the 16mm lens.

It maybe a photoshop job. However, just because its retro doesn't mean much. The OLED evf is the part that makes be a bit suspicious. However, given Fuji and the X100 it wouldn't be a shocker if it is real.

Agreed, Sony doesn't do retro - they do future (and aesthetically speaking, not typically well!).

OTOH I wouldn't be surprised if there is a retro trend due to the enormous success of the X-100.

It doesn't look retro, what am i not seeing as retro? They marked it SR 4 60-80% chance of production.
That design is much more balanced and doesn't look like the front will tip you over

That actually looks quite neat. Besides the annoying sony flash shoe..

24mm f/1.8 looks pretty large, wasn't the concept of the NEX to appeal to people who don't want to heave around the bulk* of a normal APS-C DSLR?

* I don't really consider either my Nikon D300 or Pentax K10,K-7 or K5 to be bulky at all.

With an APS-C sensor they have no choice but to use APS-C lenses.

With a smaller sensor you get a smaller camera /lens combo.

The Nikon P500 with the same size sensor as the Pentax Q has a 36x zoom 22.5-800mm (35mm eqiv) lens !

Saw that too!

Wasn't going to post it for fear of sounding like a fanboy.
Personally, I'm anxious to see what Sony has done with their latest developments.
But most of all, I'm really looking forward to seeing the new sensor in a Pentax body

Thanks for sharing btw

It has a simplified ISO adjustment too.

• press menu
• use the circle to select target 26 of 36
• double tap OK
• use the circle to select target 12 of 36
• hold OK for 2 seconds
• repeat from step 1 until you've toggled the ISO you want

Kidding aside, button 7 better control ISO.
