A few from my day hitting the street in London, took quite a few and surprisingly there is more then 3 I like .

These are all straight from the X-Pro 1 taken with the 35mm f1.4.

I won’t go sharing them all at once, there is quite a few, don’t want to go boring you all.

Really enjoyed my day out, took my mind off of other things.

Cheers, Steve

Excellent shots Steve, glad taking them was therapeutic too!

Guess I'll kick off BF with my favorite summer brew.
Including a couple of my pets.

Nice looking pets, and so easy to care for! Looks like a colorful brew too!

No beer tonight, but a bottle of hard cider......I found these on sale in a clearance cart at the local grocery.....for .49 cents a bottle...cheaper than bottled water! In reality, they are actually pretty damn tasty...I was surprised! I figured I would end up giving them to Otis...but I'll drink them all myself!

X20

BTW- You guys are all invited you know! Hope you can get a shot to post in the Big Frenzy! I'd sure appreciate it, so would Otis!

Thanks Rupert will give it a day or so and share some more street work.

What is the difference between Hard and Soft Cider? we have Cider and Perry which is alcoholic fruit drinks normally apple or pear, there is a very nice Strawberry and Lime Cider going around.... Then there is apple juice which is not alcoholic.

Quite a big Cider (or Cyder as we spell it) culture down in Cornwall, Scrumpy being a firm fav. Sadly I didn’t have a beer or any alcoholic drink last night, was too tired after my trip home!

Anyways..... I did take some photos with a IR filter while in London, just have a chance to convert them to B&W.

Will see what the X30 brings as could be tempted to get my X10 IR converted.

Cheers, Steve

Skank....Your photos are not showing in the thread on my screen?

I'm not a big cider fan, but sometimes on a hot day a very cold cider will hit the spot. My Great Grandad used to make persimmon brandy....and persimmon cider. It was wonderful stuff! Very unusual taste, and delicious! It went great with Granny's baked possum and sweet potatoes!

Regards!

Oh really give this a go?

After some Nik play

I’m a big Cyder fan, though I have my moods used to like my real ale but can’t get enough of gin at the mo, don’t want to succumb to mothers ruin!

Birthday soon...... SWMBO has offered to buy me something expensive I quite fancy a 2nd hand X100 but would feel guilty that is too much and doubt how much I would use it or then neglect my X-Pro 1..... I don’t really need anymore lens I only use the 18 and 35 and don’t feel I need anymore reach at the mo, XF55-200 is a bit dear...

Cheers, Steve

Now I see them...nice work! You do great with the lenses you have.....for me, I need some long glass...my 50-500 Bigma gets most of the action when I am not shooting with the X20. I'm very anxious ot see what the X30 will bring? If it doesn't meet my needs, I'll be back to highly considering the X-T1.

Regards!

Very nice surreal shots Steve!

Wasn't going to post these here, but.......
It's Smoke Day on another forum, no not that kind of smoke, meat smoking.
I'm using only the XF1 for posting my pics there.

I’m looking forward to the X30 also, would be tempted to buy one of them and convert my X10 to IR.....

Very nice shots, and a delicious looking meal! That little camera is a real winner in your hands! Be sure you post those over in the Toy Camera thread...we need all we can get, and those are excellent!

Regards!

Also, a reminder of the big Squirrel Frenzy on June 1st.....if your Toy Camera can get a squirrel shot, be sure to post it then!

Got to play with a friend's Leica 50/1.4 Summilux-M on my X-E1 yesterday. It was the first time I really used an adapted lens on my Fuji-X cameras, and getting the focus spot on was not easy at all.

Tell me about it! been trying my Jupiter 11 on the X-Pro and it can be a pain to nail it even with focus peaking.

Looks like you got some good results though!

Some more from London for me:

Skank- You just don't see B/W photos better than those from any camera, including FF.

I would shoot more b&w if they turned out half that good!

Figured I would finish up yesterday's cook.

I only use Picasa for a little tweaking, and as much as I love my K5, K-01, and even tiny Q, I'm finding the XF1 seldom needs much if any adjustment.
Contrast and color are usually spot on for my tastes.
Even with good glass on the K5 & 01 it seems more fiddling is needed, and I don't like to fiddle.
