Nice, I’ve never been able to get a good reflection shot!

Just 2 quick ones taken with the X10 of our 1st home grown strawberry!

Do like the Super Macro function.

I want a new lens for my X-Pro 1 but can’t decide if I want the 14, 60 or 55-200.......

Cheers, Steve

Nice shooting! Jac & Skank are the two best X10 shooters I know, and I know plenty. You guys both make the X10 shine.
I'm sticking to my view that the X10 renders better photos than the X20.....reviews and testing say different , but my eyes don't lie!

I'm sure hoping for word from Fuji on the X30 around the 1st of July as rumors predict. I'm hoping for a killer camera in the same great body.
Regards

Photos from the X-Pro1 + Zeiss Planar 50/2.0. I'm liking the ~50mm focal length, might not be able to resist the Fuji 56/1.2 for much longer

Nice shots Pop4!

Thanks Rupert The X10 just makes it so easy! I’m not much more then a point and clicker with it though, the EXR mode is fantastic!

Had a chance to view a X-T1 today, 1st one I’ve seen in a shop! Have to say I couldn’t see anything in it to make me switch from my X-Pro 1 yet, the EVF is pretty fantastic, but the lack of the HVF is a bit disappointing.
The tilty flippy screen is nice addition but not one I would necessarily use, I don’t mind getting on the floor for a shot, maybe I’m still young enough....
Focus with the 18-55mm is pretty snappy but nothing breath taking over the x-pro in my opinion.
Only think I would like is the weather sealing, but don’t see myself PX’ing the X-Pro for a X-T1 anytime soon, going to hold off for future camera me thinks!

I might be getting a new lens though, fancied something a bit longer and as it is out 5th wedding anniversary next week, so SWMBO offered to purchase me a 55-200mm which will give me a nice set, 18, 35 and 55-200, pretty much all I will use covered, the 14 or 10-24mm would be nice in the future, once the price comes down a little....

Just need to get out more now....

Cheers, Steve

Payed a visit to the Natural History Museum in London today, made the mistake of not turning my chargers on once I put the battery in..... was a long night shift last night! But did manage to get a few shots I am happy with, some looked really pants in the camera, but a quick push through the Nik collection I was more then pleased!

Mr Darwin:

Dodo.

Was quite pleased with this one, looked rubbish when I took it but turned out OK.

Last one was taken at home with the X10, trying to take some Macro of a rose reaching the end of it’s life! I may be a bit more morbid then I though....

Cheers, Steve

Like these quite a bit - very silver halide, and the museum is definitely somewhere I'd like to spend more time in (alas, need to fly over to the UK first).
I didn't know about it at the time, but apparently you can go up the elevator near the central hall and get great overlooking panoramics of the area.

I am starting to like this fuji system, they are a lot smaller than Pentax and has good image quality too, I think I can live with a EX-1 and their 27mm f2.8

Add-on: that 27mm would have an efl of ~40mm, classic imho

Love the B&Ws, and I think the Fujis do really well with that.

We do a 4 day week in the summer, so here's a quick Beer Thursday shot I took as soon as I got home, this from the X-100, it was handy. Fujis always seem to be there when you want them.

Great combination. Love mine. The 27mm is a touch narrow FOV if you have used the Pentax 21mm or are used to classic 35mm FOV.

Great shots! Been there 5-6 times and I really love that place.

I used to visit it all the time when I traveled to London as my hotel was right across the street (BP House before the SA sold it).

It's been too long

Nice shots, and makes me realise it's been way too long since I've paid a visit to a Museum.

Local store (digidirect) had a 10% off all stock sale, and I caved in and bought the 56/1.2:

The home of Blunty?

Looks great, the 56/1.2 hasn’t appealed to me yet.. Though I can hear a nice wide angle calling! don’t know if to go on a budget with the Samyang 12mm or spend a few more pennies on the Fuji 14mm or Zeiss 12mm, then again I could go mental and get the 10-24mm..... a 90/100+mm 1:1 macro would be nice also.

Well I got my anniversary preset early (4th of July for my loss of independence day...) My love wife bought me the 55-200mm as promised, and I am very happy with it, yea its a bit larger and heavier but it covers a good range.

Just had a quick play:

55mm

200mm

200mm

55mm

200mm

and a few of the kids...

Very pleased with it, photos are lovely and clear to my eyes and was impressed how quiet the focus was, had to check I did’t have it in manual....
