The Canon AE1 is actually considered a classic camera and it's a good one I think, though it's a little big for my hands. I have one actually in the box of stuff that someone gave me recently. AE1 program. It's probably going up for sale eventually but that's no bad commentary on the camera. It's a nice one, for a Canon, and I've heard many a person say nice things about theirs. A wide angle is likely to cost you though. FD lenses are not as cheap as they were and of them all the wide angles cost the most.

I thought he might have been joking, but I didn't know for sure and didn't want to risk offending him by asking if he was serious. So, I went with it, LOL.

Well, I hope my luck holds out. I'm usually able to find good deals on things I'm looking for. Maybe Santa will bring me a wide angle lens (zoom or prime) for Christmas. *crosses fingers*

Freestylephoto.biz in California is a good source for 35mm film both color and BW at good prices. I've bought Kentmere BW from them and been pleased. Film at retail stores is getting hard to find, so buy up a good supply and put in the freezer, it will keep for years. Give a roll from the freezer an hour or so to warm up before you unseal it or open the can, to avoid condensation.

Have fun!
