thanks for the link. One of the more sophisticated takes for 4/3 lenses on MFT cameras I have read.
I got into 4/3rds big time and then it went belly-up mostly. l use MFT cameras a lot but they are small for my comfort level in heavy use, but the wife loves her EM5 and it has greatly opened-up photography for her. My best use of the 4/3rds lenses now is for video where they really shine.
We do have the MFT 9-18 and it is so small that it always found a place in our packs, but image quality has been underwhelming considering the cost; no flaws really, but not very sharp or saturated. We find the 12mm end of the panny and oly short pro zooms to be much better, so lately we hike with the zooms and a samyang 8mm fisheye, which is also fairly compact, inexpensive and has been a fantastic lens for us.
