I managed to grab a dream lens I thought i'd never own, the Olympus 75mm f/1.8. Brand new in box (but "open box" in my local camera store) for 580 Canadian with full warranty, store and manufacturer.

I was having some fun today, shooting JPEG (Pop Art Filter) + RAW on my E-M1II. I saw a rare Triumph parked nicely near the high rise apartments.

Raw processed thru DxO Photolab 5, no DeepPRIME NR used.

We'll miss you here for sure.
After my initial honeymoon phase I was also thinking of letting the m43 kit go.
To me the lenses sometimes feel like they lack a certain amount of charm available on other systems.
I'm very fond of the 4/3 ratio though, and I hate cropping.

After some investigation, and because of some good deals I had buying into the system, I concluded it was impossible for me to find a cost effective way to replicate the results I get from my current setup.
It needs to be said one of the reasons that went into my buying of the E-M1 III was video, and the use of phase detect AF in video mode. Without that I would have probably gone for the K1 II Silver which I had on pre-order at the time. I've now completely fallen in love with the advantages of the system again and my need for something different and quirky was fulfilled by buying a CCD Olympus E-1. Helps that every lens I buy for that one is adaptable with AF to the m43 system.

Good luck with the foveon sensor!

An impressively quick decision. If Carlsberg did decisions, that might not translate to an international audience, it might only be a UK marketing saying......

I'm a long way from deciding if I made the right call with M43. I'm with jschoonj, that some of the quirkiness has gone which I kinda liked with Pentax but right now I'm fully exploring video and that's quite exciting, just about ready to give a little project a go.

Several grounded boats on Skye, but they will probably go back to sea when their owner needs them, and does some bailing on the foremost craft.

While the Em1 is a good camera its OLD,the newer Olys and OM1 are miles ahead.

Also Mr Pepper, consider a better Fuji than you now own.The next gen is about to be launched so the Xtrans4 group will all depreciate and pop up some great prices. We will take a hit on the value of the H1 as lots will be traded, their cost could get down to real bargains for what you get.

understood on the Olympus camera - the E-M1 is good, but the system itself isn't really what I'm looking for....

as far as the Fuji's are concerned, I'm actually quite happy with my X-H1 and X-T2 bodies....

There’s a fascinating distribution map for the Three-toed Woodpecker on allaboutbirds.org. Northern Michigan and the Rim Country of northern Arizona but I’ve never seen one. Rare in both areas.
