I keep looking for a painterly effect in my images. I could never get this effect from my Pentax cameras (no offense). The following image has realism and a surreal effect. Thank you Olympus.

A couple hours ago I found out today is World Bee Day, and it just so happens that this week I did snap bee pics.

+1 on that. The Raynox units are 100% satisfactory for macro work, IQ rivals many dedicated prime macro lenses

For several years I used a K-01 + F 35-70 + Raynox for faux-macro (macfaux?) work, and it was really fun because it allowed me to shoot one-handed, which was great for odd angles or snaking my hand into brush.

Now with the diminutive 12-60/3.5-5.6 + Raynox I can do the same, and I'm impressed with the ability to deep-crop with such pedestrian gear.

Sustenance lies at the heart of a buttercup...
